This wheel-chakra is represented by a mixture of cinnabar and Dharmic medicine from Amrita (it consists of eight main ingredients, etc.). Then it is tied in five-color silk. If, having done so, you tie it on your head, you will be protected from all harm by the higher spirits with the heads of animals. You can also put it on top of your own bed or in a hat, inside. By doing this, you will be freed from everything that was done before.

ཨོཾ་ཨཱཿཧཱུཾ་ཧྲཱིཿ བཛྲ་གུ་རུ་དེ་ཝ་ཌཱ་ཀི་ནཱི་སརྦ་སིདྡྷི་ཕ་ལ་ཧཱུཾ་ཨཱཿ འཆང་བ་འདི་ལ་ཕྲ་མེན་འགོང་ཆོག་གི་གནོད་པ་ཐམས་ཅད་ལས་སྲུངས་ཤིག༔
Let the protection of this [person who] holds the [chakra] be revealed, from all harm from harmful spirits with the heads of animals!
