Ritual of empowerment [transmission] of volume texts


    Praise be to the Master, the deity, and the Dakini! Hum!
    If a diligent being who is eager to carry out the teachings of the outer and inner chariots meets with a volume of instructions and does not meet the teacher who teaches them, then he must say the following:
    All the Teachings, according to the conditions, are completely at the top of the intention!

    Saying this should generate a strong fervor of faith, generating an intention related to others, and not having any thoughts about claims [in relation to the Teaching]. [When you have done so,] receive the text and empowerment of the volume.
    The time of [performing the ritual] should be special-the eighth day, new moon or full moon. When you have established acceptable and time-appropriate offerings to the blessed One, [say]:
    Please abide all that are volumes [of the teaching] to the right of the revealed and perfect Foundation - the body of the teacher, the Blessed One!
    I ask you to stay on the left of everything that is found only as a moral good Assembly of brahmacharyas!
    Imagine that if you don't find [any of this], it appears from below [appearing from the ground].
    Place offerings such as drinking water, flowers, incense, lamps, scented water, food, musical instruments, mandalas, and so on in front of everything in front of you.
    Further, it is acceptable both to be alone and to be [together] with others. Since everything [good] is found, you should clean your head, mouth, and so on with clean water, light incense, join your hands, praise the image of the Foundation, kneel, take refuge in faith, and create an enlightened mood. Make extensive use of the stages of the practice of the Teaching, such as the seven branches [of accumulation] and so on. Bestow offerings that have come from others, perform an extensive mandala ritual. Then say]:
    Instantly the very Foundation-the physical form of the Teacher [appears as] The teacher, Blessed one, Tathagata, Arhat, perfect enlightened one, Shakyamuni is true. With a body of Golden color, completely clean and uncontaminated like the color of ur. Decorated with signs and markings along with rays of light. He is wearing the monk's robes, decorated with the appropriate ornaments. On top of the head - a knot [of hair]. Two hands in the form of mudra-the seal of giving the Teaching. Legs crossed in a vajra pose. It rests on a seat on eight lions, which is made up of various jewels.
    On the right [are] all the Holy teachings and sayings. On the left are all the assemblies of the noble, the virtuous Assembly.
    All the enlightened Ones of the ten directions and three times, Bodhisattvas, teachers, deities of meditation and heavenly deities, protectors of the Teaching and protectors of vows, gather around like thunderclouds over a snowy mountain and stay there.
    Imagine that.
    Called from their own places of abode and captured by the mind, they truly reside with the master and the environment. They turn the wheel of Learning for all living beings, me and others.
    But especially [imagine] that all the syllables and numerous noisy sounds [of speech] - come through the power of the voice of Brahma and the highest speech of the contemplated Teaching, and dissolve in your own heart.
    Imagine that.
    After praising, put a volume of texts on the top of your head. Thanks to this, Tom turns into a Great Mother, with a gold-colored body, one face, and four arms. The first one on the right holds a vajra, the first one on the left holds a volume of text. The bottom two are in the balance position. Behold it as adorned with many signs and marks [and speak].
    Prajna-paramita, which is beyond expressions, words and thoughts! The nature of the celestial space that does not stop and does not arise! The sphere of manifestation [activity] of inherent wisdom, one's own individual awareness-leading! I give praise to the Mother of the Victorious three times!
    Your marks and markings burn like gold! The protector of all beings, the manifest adornment of [Jambudvipa]! With compassion and skill in your methods, you destroy the host of malicious demons! I give praise to You, the Teacher, who was born in the genus Shakya!
    The Supreme lamp that destroys the darkness of ignorance! The Holy Teachings and sayings of the number eighty four thousand! I give praise to the Holy Teaching, virtuous in the beginning, middle and end!
    In accordance with the command of the Master, the instructions and the Holy Teaching are here. To practice the deep compassionate essence, please bless with the truth of the Jewels!

    tadyathā oṁ muni muni mahā mune śakya munaye sarva dharmā mama citta svabhāva abhiṣīñca māṁ sarva dharmā abhava svabhāva siddhi svāhā

    Repeat this three times. In the end,
    The great Mother, the Teacher, the Blessed one along with the environment, the Holy Teaching, the good Assembly of the noble ones, and so on-are dissolved in my actual body, speech, and mind. I become like the appearance of a rainbow in the sky. I am in a sphere that is free from all speculative characteristics, where all phenomena that are United by manifest being and Nirvana do not arise at the beginning, do not remain in the middle, and do not stop at the end.
    By this method, all the teachings of the outer and inner chariots become acceptable. This corresponds to receiving the transmission of a text from a real teacher. And becomes an object of personal practice. Having thus gained power and gains, you can also distribute them to other objects, which is not contradictory. If you do not receive initiation [power and realization], then you cannot [pass on].
    At the end of this, one should make an offering of perfect pure earth to the Three highest Jewels and perform service. Also, in the end, as far as possible, you should give out of charity to those who can not throw away poverty, etc.
    In short, be diligent in carrying out the collection of accumulations, and pray extensively for the bestowal of the root of virtue for the sake of others.
    Samaya.

    If vajracharya with appropriate characteristics, wants to give the transfer a volume of texts and the dedication of the volume to the Treasury, etc. to the student with appropriate characteristics, following the end of the explanation text-the vase initiation of jewelry, you should set the throne drawn over the open petal-shaped Lotus. [Students should] pray for the presence of a Teacher who is dressed as a teacher. Students should stand in front of [him], hold up the mandala and put their hands together [to say]:
    How wonderful!
    Teacher! Blessed one! In the wonderful mandala of the mind [is] the perfect source of the teachings of the Evangelist! We ask you to grant us, the sons and followers, the transmission of the text and the dedication of a volume of texts from the repository-the Treasury of internal and external tantras!
    You should say it three times.
    Then you should meditate on the syllables in the center of the white drop-the essence between the eyes of the students. To adjust all with it. Put in your hand the volume of texts that will be transmitted, the root sutras of the teaching of the students-listeners [and say]:
    How wonderful!
    Lucky sons of a [noble] family! As you relate to the teachings of the congregation of student listeners, you gain the initiation of liberation from craving. May you quickly attain the fruit of the Arhat when you attain it.
    Imagine that through this empowerment, the students, presented as one with the teaching, become one with the teacher.
    Putting it aside, you should imagine that inside the mouth of the students is a red essence-a drop marked with the syllable TSA [and say it]. Put a volume of the sutras in your hand [and say]:
    How wonderful!
    Lucky sons of a [noble] family! As you relate to the teachings of interdependent origin in the self-enlightened, you gain the initiation of self-liberation of pride. Let having found it you will quickly reach the top ten levels.
    Contemplate how the red Tsa dissolves.
    Contemplate that in a secret place there is a blue drop marked with the syllable VA. And say that syllable.
    Put a part or volume of the Abihdarma in your hand [and say]:
    How wonderful!
    Lucky sons of a [noble] family! Because you relate to the teachings of engaging and striving Bodhisattvas, a state that is pure from anger. May you attain the level of the twelve truths when you attain it.
    Watch the blue VA dissolve.
    Accordingly, the fruit of the three [methods] will Mature as the body of manifestation and you will gain mastery in the teachings of the lower chariots.
    Again, a white drop of essence appears clearly in the pupils ' navel, marked with the syllable Ha, which should be repeated. Take a volume of Kriya Tantra in your hand [and say]:
    How wonderful!
    Lucky sons of a [noble] family! As you relate to the teachings of birth in Kriya Tantra, you will have a self-liberating obscuration-the klesha of dullness. May you gain the level of the twelve truths by doing so!
    Having said this, contemplate that the white syllable Ha dissolves.
    A red drop appears in the navel-an entity marked with the syllable Sa, which should be repeated. Take a volume of Upaya Tantra in your hand [and say]:
    How wonderful!
    Lucky sons of a [noble] family! Since you are related to the Upaya Tantra teachings, which have two [methods and wisdom], then you will clear the klesha itself-the obscuration of envy. May you then attain the level of the mandala of the thirteen [deities]!
    Having said this, contemplate that the white syllable Sa is dissolving.
    [Imagine] a blue drop of essence appears in your nose, marked with the syllable MA, and repeat it. Take a volume of yoga Tantra in your hand [and say]:
    How wonderful!
    Lucky sons of a [noble] family! Since you relate to the teachings of enlightenment from the yoga tantras, you will self-liberate the klesha-renunciation of rage. May you then attain the level of Akanishtha in one lifetime!
    Imagine that the blue MA also dissolves.
    The fruit of three such initiations is the maturation of the body of perfect enjoyment. This is how you gain mastery and initiation into the middle chariot.
    A white drop of essence appears on the top of the students ' heads, marked with the syllable Om, which should be repeated. Take in your hand the volume of the Maha yoga Tantra of the nascent stage [and say]:
    How wonderful!
    Lucky sons of a [noble] family! As you relate to the teachings of the three deep concentrations, the bell-shaped obscurations will transform. May you comprehend the inherent wisdom and omniscience!
    Imagine that the white Om also dissolves.
    A red drop appears in the throat-an entity marked with the syllable A (a'a), which should be repeated. Take in your hand a volume of Anu-yoga tantras, actually texts [and say]:
    How wonderful!
    Lucky sons of a [noble] family! As you relate to the teachings of [mixing] space [higher reality] and inherent wisdom, you will release the waves of mental activity. Let you then comprehend that which has the highest aspect!
    Imagine that red A also dissolves.
    A blue drop appears in the heart-an entity marked with the syllable Hum, which should be repeated. Take in your hand a volume of ATI-yoga tantras, of great Perfection, [and say]:
    How wonderful!
    Lucky sons of a [noble] family! As you relate to the teachings of the three bodies and the methods of the victorious ones, you become proficient and fully initiated in all the Teachings. May you then attain the level of the Enlightened in one lifetime!
    Imagine that the blue Hum also becomes one with the teachings and students. Imagine that the students and the teacher are dissolving.
    The fruit of these three is maturation as a body of Learning and mastery and initiation into the teachings of the Supreme chariot.
    On the basis of acquiring the transmission of the text and initiation into the volumes of the nine chariots, it becomes acceptable to read the tantras and descriptions of the nine chariots, practice, etc. But this does not apply to the teachings that are not included in the sphere of the nine stages of the chariots.
    It is especially useful as a perfect ritual of initiation and transmission of the text of volumes when various types of Shastra records and Treasury volumes are transmitted.
    Even if you did not receive the transmission of the text by reading, you and others will definitely receive the transmission of the text in all the tantras.
    Then one should give praise to vajracharya, offer a mandala decorated with pure white flowers, and make gifts while contemplating acceptable offerings. [Talk about] great kindness and hold the mind to the corresponding ideas.
    Also, like the hook of the sequence of the ritual of texts, everything should be completed with good luck wishes, an offering of merit, extensive prayers-well-wishes, prayers.
    It is a ritual of bestowing empowerment and transmitting texts by vajracharya to the disciples.
    Let him meet those who have good luck!
    Samaya. Seal. Seal. Seal. Seal of budy. Seal of speech. Seal of the mind.
