Instructions on the daily practice of longevity, important for yourself and others

Heart of Vajra

Praise the guru, deva, dakini! Hum!

These small records, which are of the highest importance, based on the oral instructions for the daily practice of achieving longevity, [should] be practiced for the sake of restoring the damage of longevity to those followers who have a destiny that will appear in the future. A believing yogi should in any case get up in the morning and take a cross-legged body pose in the vajra position. When you exhale the dirty wind three times, imagine that you are throwing out the demons of longevity, pernicious and veils.
Then take Refuge and create the mood. [Speak up:]
Amitabha and Avalokitesvara! Padmasambhava and Mandarava! A gathering of gurus, devas and dakinis! Please bless me! Bestow the siddhi of immortality and longevity! Please carry out maturation and liberation!
Perform this prayer three times, etc.
Then, by means of an instantaneous perfect memory, [imagine] your body, this illusory city, as a golden vajra with five peaks. Touch the place of Brahma on the top of your head. Touch the golden base of the earth with one peak. Imagine that you have light and splendor.
In the middle of it [this vajra represent] the red syllable Hrīḥ, the syllable of consciousness. Meditate on the emission of light along with strong small [sparks]. Pronouncing with the power of the voice hrīḥ, Radiate a cluster of red rays from the syllable hrīḥ, which are similar to the syllable hrīḥ. He is in touch with the deities of longevity, along with his Sons and Sugatami the ten directions. Having stimulated the flow of all of them, they return and dissolve into the syllable Hrīḥ. Behold that by this you become possessed of radiance and splendor. When you contemplate like this, control [or hold] the wind and gather it back in contemplation.
Exhaling, radiate rays of light from the syllable hrīḥ. At this time, perform the repetition of hrīḥ, doing so a hundred times, a thousand, ten thousand, a hundred thousand, as much as possible. From time to time, keep as much wind as possible in the session.
Then, in the intervals between the practices, seal by contemplation and make an offering [of merit]. Thanks to daily diligence in this, the corresponding signs of implementation will appear. Your own body will become like a golden vajra. The sun and moon will rise and you will drink nectar. You will be marked with clean clothes, robes, and good jewelry. The fragrance will come out. And when it appears, it will spread further. There will be music, you will cross the big and small. After performing ablutions at dawn, etc., in particular, longevity will increase and good visions will appear.
As for the obligations of the heart, do not spread them among others. During practice, secrecy is important. Perform any actions that correspond to the virtuous, and refrain from the non-virtuous. Especially because of your longevity and vitality, you will be mistaken about the certainty of death.
A man who acts for the benefit of others, in practice [should do] the following. When the time comes when there is a gap between sessions, [imagine] your body as a golden vajra guru Born in the lake, the vajra body. Naked, shining red, has bone ornaments. With both hands in the balance position. Holds the vessel of longevity. Shines as the only one who fills three thousand [worlds]. In its essence, all happiness is formed.
I and others, all the phenomena of manifest being, samsara and nirvana, are free from extremes and immaterial. They are in nature, which is not created and is not destroyed.
These are the true oral instructions.
     Samaya.
Let the instructions for the daily practice of longevity of the "Vajra Heart" be met only by those who have destiny!
     Seal. Seal. Seal.
Hidden printing. Seal of trust. Seal of the treasury.
These are the instructions for the daily practice "Heart of Vajra".
