Dharani of the merciful noble Jambhala-jalandra "Generation of happiness"
I bow to the All-Knowing!

The Blessed One was in the palace of the bodhisattva Manibhadra, the great head of the Yakshas of the city of Mani. Then the great head of the yakshas, Manibhadra, addressed the Blessed One with the words:
The Blessed One was in the palace of the bodhisattva Manibhadra, the great head of the Yakshas of the city of Mani. Then the great head of the yakshas, Manibhadra, addressed the Blessed One with the words: Blessed! If a bhikkhu or bhikkhuni, upasaka or upasika with the [appropriate] intention repeats three times at night and three times during the day [the spell] of my heart-essence, then he will constantly follow me! We will keep me from the yakshas at a distance of 100 yojanas! Fully realize all thoughts!
This is not due to mistakes due to desire, but if there is hunger or thirst, then drink and food, jewelry, seeds, treasures and gold will be granted.

The ritual is as follows. On the fifteenth day of the waxing moon, make a mandala from white sandalwood and burn aloe. If you chant [mantra], you will find gold lying underneath.
Thus ends the dharani of the noble merciful Jambhalajalandra “the generation of happiness”.
