The Practice of Vajra-gandhari

    Vajragandhari is black in color, with six faces and twelve arms. Her yellow hair blazes upwards. The first face, with fangs clenched tight, is black. The other faces are of five colors. Each face has three eyes. Her six right hands hold a vajra, a bell, a sword, a trident (trishula), an arrow, and a battle-chakra. Her six left hands hold a khatvanga staff, an iron hook, a bow, a pike, a noose, and the scorpion mudra held at the heart. She stands with her right leg bent upon a seat of a multicolored lotus and the Sun. Mantra for recitation:
    oṁ hūṁ hūṁ svāhā
    This is the practice of Vajra-gandhari.
