The practice of Heruka, two-armed and with one face

    I prostrate before the glorious Heruka!
    With a joyful mind and having no friendship, you abide in the center of the eight cemeteries. Through the ritual of wisdom and methods [the unity of the Moon and the Sun is presented]. Through the unity of the Sanskrit vowels and consonants, meditate on the mandala of the Sun.
    On it appears the perfect syllable hūṁ. [Which is transformed into a deity that] possesses the tip of the vajra. He is on the corpse, sitting half cross-legged. Because of the human skin garment worn, the body is smeared with ashes. With a blazing vajra in his right, in his left he holds a blood drop and a khwatanga rod with a wavering silk flag. Necklaces of garlands of fifty heads sound pleasant to the mind. The small fangs are firmly clenched. Possesses three eyes and a corpse. The brown hair on the heads rises upward. Possesses on his head an ornament in the form of Akshobhya. Possesses perfection and earrings. Is beautiful because of bone ornaments. Possesses five mouthparts on the top of his head. Visualize as corresponding to the nature of the Enlightened One. Realize the unfoldment of old age and death.
    svāhā phaṭ hūṁ oṁ
    This is the shortest.
    Thus concludes the sadhana of Heruka with one face and two hands.
