Manjusri Practice

I prostrate before the noble Manjushri!
Having collected Manjushri's completely pure practice and completely clarifying, completely destroyed the cataract of misunderstanding. I will proclaim [this] as good and acceptable to the mind.
[Having performed] the rituals previously proclaimed, here on the moon in your own heart [represent] the syllable mūḥ yellow. When completely transformed, [it becomes] the young Manjushri with three faces and six arms, with a red body that is like saffron in color. His right and opposite faces are blue and white. Sits cross-legged like a bodhisattva. In his three right hands he holds a sword, an arrow, [makes the mudra of] bestowing the supreme. In his three left hands he holds a volume of prajña-paramita, utpala, and bow. Young, with a smile. Adorned with jewelry, clothes, etc. Majestically beautiful because of the varied colors. Adorned with three knots of hair. So meditate on the self as perfectly composed of the particles of the Tathagata.
    oṁ mūḥ
Thus perform the recitation of the mantra.
This is how the practice of Manjushri is completed.
    Translated by Lama Karma Paljor.
