Clarification of the heart of the three yogis
I prostrate before Manjughosha!
I prostrate before Vajrasattva, that by the syllable oṁ definitely [establishes] on the path of visions!
Having realized the prostrations, I will explain the meditation of the Great Seal, the path of perfect purification. If, by virtue of initiation, one has realized maturation and possesses heart commitments, the three yogas are clarified for that one, but for no one else. [Everything is presented] definitely in blessing, meditation-realization, and the yoga of one's own nature.
Having realized the understanding of the sign of death, one definitely enters the binda of life force. Individual dissolution, meditative immersion, control of the life force, appropriate grasping, subsequent mindfulness and samadhi are called the “Six Branches of Yoga.” The practitioner, that abides in perfect equilibrium at night in a house without cracks, binds the five activities. Having bound twice, comprehends the precepts of the teacher-guru.
The smoke that transcends existence and non-existence, the mirage, the hail of rakshasas, the oil lamp, are seen by the mind in space. Through the girl, one will see the thieves that are hidden by past deeds. Through the small eye you will see the coming of the practitioner. When the space that is free of clouds becomes clear, in the morning look in the direction opposite to the Sun. In the evening do likewise. In the middle of the day, refrain from harming your eyes. [Everything] naturally arises from the heavenly space. [Appear] the great flame of wisdom and primordial wisdom, the complete illumination of everything with great light, the radiance of the light of primordial wisdom, the lamp of primordial wisdom, the oil lamp of beings, great splendor and clear light, the supreme mantra,, the realization of essence, the king of mantra, the king of secret mantra, the great goal is formed.
As far as possible, within the bindu there will be a black pattern commensurate with a hair. When one sees this, [one will attain] the level of clear light. After the yogi attains it, one will sink into the equilibrium of individual dissolution. Because of this, the blessing of all the secret mantras will be manifested. [There will appear] comprehension of wisdom, analysis, joy, bliss, and steadfastness. Through steadfastness in the five branches of meditative immersion, one will attain the five clairvoyances and [appear] as a king, which is marvelous!
In the middle supreme is the arising of breath. According to the explanations, thou shalt indeed possess the four channels for urine, the Sun, and the Moon. You will breathe in the nature of the five primordial wisdoms. The very essence of the five elements will be blessed by the five Enlightened Ones. This is the explanation of what is called the control of the life force.
Through the power of constant grasping-holding one truly immerses oneself in Vajrasattva. Through the kindling of the chandali-fire in the navel, the five Tathagatas are burned. After the actual burning of Lochana, etc., a stream of lunar [substance] descends from the burned syllable haṁ. One will possess the object of samāśattva.
Having seen the bodily form, every day purify the prana of the life force from time to time. The yogin that desires liberation should exercise filling in the yoga of vase-like [breathing]. As far as possible, should rotate the mother in his body according to the chakra. In this way the chakra of the rays of light will become visible. And the body that is proclaimed before will become one's own. Due to this [there will be] bliss at the end of six months. In the special radiance that is like the Sun in water, [there will arise] diverse colors that have no impurities. One's own mind in all its aspects, [will manifest] the essence of bliss as the essence of one's own mind.
In the yoga of samadhi and great bliss, the five eyes and six clairvoyances will arise. As the states of ignorance, etc., in the house of the crocodile, etc., will be averted, one will attain the twelve levels. When you possess the non-conceptual teachings, in an instant [you will become] truly enlightened. Having fully completed [attaining] the levels of the great radiance of Vajrasurya, the uncontaminated light of Vajrachandra, one will fully point to the two [kinds of]particles. Through this presence of original wisdom, proclaim the protection and possession of original wisdom. Due to mercy without concentration, [manifest] enlightenment by the net of magical illusion. Like the jewel of wish fulfillment, you will manifest the great bliss of liberation of sentient beings, being surrounded by the aspirations of boundless sentient beings. Realize the elimination of passion with the descent [of seed]. May one who seeks the supreme path that eliminates the suffering of the six kinds of beings meet!
Thus is completed the clarification of the heart of the three yogas. Composed by the one called Jati, thinking of the disciple known as the bodhisattva Manjushri-raja.
