Ritual of burning gifts from the mind of Vajrayogini
I prostrate before the Blessed Manjushri!
First, everyone, for the sake of realizing actual attainment-siddhi, both worldly attainment-siddhi, which is from the essence-mind of the glorious Vajrayogini, and attainment-siddhi which surpasses worldly attainment-siddhi, should perform the act of burning gifts. A yogin who wishes to do so should make a hearth for burning of triangular shape. Having divided it into sides, [prepare] the elevation successively. Anoint [with substances] with red color, etc. Put nearby, in succession, starting from the western direction, where you look, etc. [everything]. When you do so, make the offerings of the five offerings. When you build burning wood in the hearth for burning, meditate on the red-colored fire deity that arises from the hūṁ seed. Take in your hands a bowl of water, [the symbol of] undauntedness, a staff, and a rosary. Then realize the entry of the jñānasattva, etc. Having done so, really make offerings and visualize the syllable raṁ on the tip of the tongue. [Take] substances such as the five nectars, etc., and worldly substances.
oṁ agnaye svāhā
Carry out the burning with this mantra. With this mantra itself, offer the filled spoon. Then in the midst of the fire of the essence of the primordial wisdom of the supreme reality-self, present the mandala chakra remnant. After making the offerings, etc., perform the burning with the mantra of the goddess and goddesses of the substances of the five nectars and so forth.
Substances to burn for pacification: oil, etc. For increase also: the essence of sweetness. For subjugation: sweet and salt. For anger: salt, countenance, etc.
Form for pacification: white. For increase, meditate on the aspect of yellow. For subjugation speak of red. For anger it is universally known about black. Also for the sake of attaining siddhi, perform meditation also on red.
Having done so, bring the mandala chakra into your own body. Having offered the torma, according to the sequence of the accumulation chakra, realize an offering that surpasses the mundane. Obtain the actual attainments that one truly desires for oneself. Do not carry out such burning of gifts for clarity. Through diligence, realize it as secret. On the basis of this, valid attainments-siddhas will arise. There is no fate in siddhas for other [methods]. The siddhis of Mahamudra, etc., will arise from actual faith in the mantra, which is like the wish-fulfillment jewel. If one follows, the mantras will be like the wish-fulfillment jewel. In this way the stability of faith due to desire in regard to Mahamudra, etc., will be manifested.
Thus concludes the ritual of burning the gifts from the essence of the glorious Vajrayogini composed by Acharya Kongka Jin.
