The Ritual for Setting Up the Five Stupas

In the ritual for setting up the five stupas, the other steps are similar to those [described] earlier. To do this, [create] a mandala with a base measuring one cubit. On the square base, also arrange [a base] measuring one cubit. At its four corners, create something similar to this. [Arrange] a combination of a square base in the center and square bases at the edges.
Then, in the very center of the base, draw a lotus with sixteen or twelve petals. On the sixteen-petaled lotus in the center of the four-cornered base, draw a twelve-petaled lotus. On the twelve-petaled lotus [located] in the center, finally draw an eight-petaled [lotus]. Place a stupa in the center of it.
This is the procedure for setting up the stupa. First, place it in the center. Once placed, set them at the four corners,  starting from the east and moving toward the south. Also, when you do not connect with the corners of the mandala in other aspects, make arrangements for the four cardinal directions. At the four corners above the mandala, place alms bowls filled with fragrant water and make offerings.
This is the ritual for setting up the five stupas.
