The Practice of the [Lord of] Speech
I prostrate before the Vajra of Speech!
Meditate on the aspect of emptiness as [described] earlier. There, a multicolored lotus emerges from the syllable paṁ. From the syllable oṁ, the disk of the moon appears. On it [appears] the red syllable hrīḥ. When it becomes perfect, meditate on yourself as the body of Amitabha. He possesses the mudra of abiding in balance. Of the colors of compassion, he abides with his legs crossed in the vajra posture.
Then, on the moon in the heart—from the syllable hūṁ—a blue vajra with five peaks appears, standing upright. Meditate on the red syllable āḥ at the peak in the center of it. At the tip of the tongue, the red syllable hrīḥ also [appears].
This is the practice of the [Lord of] Speech. Translated by Monk Tsultrim Gyaltsen based on the teachings of several masters.
Translated by Lama Dondrub Dorje Tulku.
