Avalokiteshvara's practice of the stages of the magic illusion net

I prostrate before the noble Avalokiteshvara!
[Perform] the meditation on emptiness according to the ritual explained earlier. Then the disk of the Sun appears in space from the syllable raṁ. On it [appears] the syllable hūṁ. When it becomes perfect, [from it appears] a multicolored crossed vajra. From it, having become perfect, [appears] the vajr fence and the vajr tent. Meditate on the manifestation of the intolerable graveyard within it. Having done so, [visualize] in the middle of it a red lotus with eight petals. From the syllable hrīḥ, the black-colored blessed noble Avalokiteshvara appears in the middle of it. Imagine that he is with his left [leg] extended on the disk of the Sun.
He has five faces, three eyes, twelve hands. The two faces on the right are white and red. Similarly, the two faces on the left are yellow and green. In his right hands he holds a small stone, a rod-khvatanga, an iron hook, a harness, a vajr and an arrow. In the left hands [makes the mudra] scorpion, holds a kapala, a red lotus, a jewel and a bow. All countenances with clenched fangs. Possesses six arms. Body adorned with a garland of raw human heads. Naked, sits with his left [leg] extended. All parts [of the body] are beautiful. When momentarily one is fully marked as this entity, in the midst of the moon the syllable hrīḥ [will] abide in the heart.
oṁ āḥ hūṁ i ti mu ni vara vajre hrīḥ hūṁ dzaḥ
Realize the recitation by possessing the garland aspects of the said mantra. Even if one has performed five unparalleled [bad actions], by means of recitation a hundred thousand times, one will attain [the realization of it].
Such is the practice of the noble Avalokiteshvara from the stage of the net of magical illusion. Compiled by Acharya Shatruvijaya. Translated by Pandita Avmoghavajra and the translator from Kham, monk Bari.
    Translated by Lama Karma Paljor.
