ārya-tāre-devī-sādhana
The practice of the noble goddess Tara
I prostrate before the goddess Tara!
[Performing] the rituals that were previously proclaimed, in the middle of the nectar mandala [appear] on the syllable-seed of the first of the fifth class of syllables, which ends with the second. When you have done so, adorn with half of the moon and the bindu. Meditate on the goddess tara that appears from it.
With green body color, two hands. The right [hand makes up the mudra] of bestowing the supreme. The left hand holds the utpala. Located on the lotus and the moon. Adorned with all ornaments. Visualize it in this way.
Then compose the mudra. When you join the palms of both hands, intertwine both index fingers with the middle fingers. This intertwining is the mudra of the uncovered utpal of Goddess Tara. After that, recite the mantra:
oṁ tāre tuttāre ture svāhā
This is how the practice of Goddess Tara is completed.
