Practicing Tara. Oral instructions on death repayment

I prostrate myself before the noble Tara!
Get up in the morning in a direction that is pleasing to the mind. Sit down fully in a good seat. On the Moon in the heart proper on the first of the fifth [row] there appears a connection with the second vowel. It really possesses the bindu and half of the Moon. It is completely adorned with white rays of light. By white rays of light from it - Tara is invited into space. Being with two hands and a white-colored body, she [constitutes the mudra] of bestowing the supreme and holds utpala. Having realized with devotion the offerings of the offerings of the five ordinary offerings, realize repentance for the detrimental.
Later, then rejoice in spiritual merit, fully realizing its offerings. In the same way, direct yourself to take refuge in the Three [Jewels].
oṁ śūnyatā jñāna vajra svabhāva ātma ko haṁ
With this mantra, meditate on emptiness. Through the ritual of the yogin, in the middle of the white lotus, the disk of the moon [appears]. The goddess Tara, who is pleasant to the mind, [appears] on it from the seed-sword that was proclaimed earlier. Sitting cross-legged in vajra posture, [makes the mudra] of bestowing the supreme and holds utpala. Being like the autumn moon, is indeed on [the disk of] the moon. Fully adorned with all adornments. Possesses the form of the age of sixteen years. Being the mother of the sons of all these Enlightened Ones, [appears as] the mother that holds the form of desire. Meditate on the heart of noble Tara.
Her chakra possesses white light. It is completely surrounded by eight syllables in eight squares [of the table]. The consonants oṁ and are in the middle. The sage, [possessing] a single-minded mind, meditates for six months with a certain steadiness on the center with the names of the one for whom the practice is being done, etc.
This secret mantra of ten syllables is unwaveringly repeated by the sages in the mind. The first syllable oṁ - realizes bestowal. Then tāre - completely binds [to the deity]. After tuttāre is followed by ture. svāhā in completion realizes all deeds. Even the mighty Brahma, Vishnu, the Sun and Moon, Rudra, the protector of direction, and the gods of the [realm of] desire-are unable to cut off even the top of a hair. In like manner one is also freed from the king of deeds, the lord of death. In short, if one possesses gray hair, wrinkles, weak insides, etc., one will completely destroy the eight great fears, such as the lion, etc., and accumulations of suffering. Thou shalt obtain writing without the need of inducement [in obtaining], etc., a good house, garments, etc., a good home, and garments, etc. Thou shalt attain [siddhis] such as a sword, medicine for the eyes, swift feet, a good vessel, etc., and a good vessel, etc. Thou shalt be versed in speech and euphonious utterances. There will be a sharp mind, pure wisdom. All other desirable siddhis will fully emerge from this chakra as well. Thus it is said.
Thus concludes the practice of Tara from the oral instructions on the reprieve from death.
Translated by Lama Karma Paljor (Filippov O.E.).
