cunde-sādhanaṁ
Chunda practice
I prostrate myself before the noble Chunde!
One. Concentrate on the seed of the white syllable cuṁ Moon in the heart. By rays of light from it, make offerings to the Enlightened Ones, etc., make prostrations, true hymns of praise, repentance for harmful things, and the other seven unsurpassed offerings. After making offerings, recite the stanzas of taking refuge in the Three [Jewels]. After reciting, ask for patience. Exercise meditation on aspects of the four immeasurable states. Perform meditation on emptiness.
Then also visualize your own syllable-seed on the moon on a multicolored lotus. When it forms, [transforms] into Noble Chunde. Noble Chunde is like [the color of] the autumn moon. With one face and four arms. The right hand [constitutes the mudra] of bestowing the highest. The left hand [holds] a lotus marked with a volume [of teachings]. The remaining hands hold an alms bowl. She is fully adorned with various garments and ornaments. Possesses the tiara of Vajrasattva. Radiates the essence of the body that realizes the goals of limitless sentient beings, and appears instantly.
Appear, present your own syllable-seed in your heart and touch the three places with wisdom.
[Mudra is like this.] Join the palms of both hands. Then join in parts both index fingers, twisting, with the middle of the middle fingers. Place both thumbs at the sides [joining]. Mantra:
oṁ cale cule cunde svāhā
