The practice of Vajrasarasvati

    I prostrate myself before Vajra-Saraswati!
Look at the syllable a in your heart. When it becomes perfect, imagine the disc of the moon. From it, above the lotus, the beautiful syllable hrīḥ appears. From it then [appears] the goddess [with the help of] rays of light from speech, through the successive [appearance] from the openings of the hairs. The great sage who appeared from her, through the seed of glory and the iron hook, [will capture and bring] the beautiful body [of the deity] to the white lotus. With three eyes and a crown, she is indeed adorned with half a moon. In her left hand she holds a volume, and in her right hand a lotus. Next, apply yourself fully with your mind in accordance with your own body [as a manifestation of the deity].
If you then relax in meditative immersion, remain in balance. Remaining there, perform recitation. Having received initiation through the power of the guru's instructions, you will possess purity of body and behavior. Thanks to this, you will possess ta at the end and ra at the end. [You will appear as] beautiful through the vowel i and the ending in the form of sa. [The combination of syllables] is suppressed [at the top] by the bindu and the half moon. Gaze intently at the guru teacher and perform the recitation.
This concludes the practice of Vajrasarasvati.
    Translated by Lama Karma Paljor.
