The Practice of Mahā-Śitavati

I prostrate myself before the noble Mahā-Shitavati!
Mahā-Shitavati has one face, four arms, and a red body. Her two right hands hold prayer beads and form the mudra of supreme giving. Her two left hands hold an iron hook and a white bowl at her heart. She appears from the seed syllable jaṁ. She is adorned with the crown of Amitābha. She sits with her legs half crossed. She is adorned with various ornaments. Sitting on a seat made of the Sun, she possesses the radiance of rays of light.
Thus ends the practice of the noble Shitavati.
    Translated by Lama Karma Paljor.
