vajra-gāndhārī-sādhana

The Practice of Vajragandhari

    I prostrate myself before Vajragandhari!
Vajragandhari is black in color, with six faces and twelve arms. Her brown hair is raised upward. Her left leg is extended. Her fangs are bared. Each of her faces has three eyes. In her six right hands, she holds a vajra, a bell with a vajra, a sword, a trident, an arrow, and a chakra, in that order. In her six left hands, she holds a khatvanga staff, an iron hook, a bow, an axe, a noose, and a scorpion mudra at her heart. The first face is black. The other five faces are of five colors: white, yellow, red, green, and blue. She sits on a seat of multicolored lotus and sun. This is the dharani for her:
namo ratna trayāya namaḥ caṇḍa vajrapāṇaye mahā yakṣa senāpataye namo bhagavati mahā vajra gandharī ane kaśata sāhasra pra jvalita dipte jvalita dīpte jāyai ugra bhīma bhayā nakāyai yogīnīyai bhiṣa mabha ginīyai dvada śabhu jayai vikīrṇa keśīye ane karū pa vi vidha veśa dharaṇīyai ehyed bhagavatī mahā vajra gandharī traya nāṁ ratna nāṁ satye na ā kadhya a kaddhya vala devā de kaṁ ye cā nye samaye na tiṣṭha nati tānā vartayi ṣyā mi śīghraṁ gṛihṇa gṛihṇa oṁ a li a li hulu hulu mulu mulu culu culu dhama dhama raṁ ga raṁ ga raṁ gā paya raṁ gā paya pūraya pūraya āviśa āviśa bhagavatī mahā vajra gandharī siddha caṇḍa vajrapāṇi rājñā payati hrīḥ ha ha hūṁ phaṭ svāhā
The actions from this are very extensive. [They appear] from this ritual.
     Thus concludes the Vajragandhari sadhana.
