The Practice of Vajra Shrinkhala

    I prostrate myself before Vajra-shrinkhala!
Performing the rituals that were proclaimed earlier, meditate on emptiness. After that, from the green syllable hūṁ, which is located on a multicolored lotus and the Sun, a [deity] appears with a green body, three faces, and eight arms. The first face smiles slightly. The right one is light yellow and has light yellow eyes. The left one is red, frowning, with clenched fangs. In the four right hands, it forms the abhaya mudra, holding a vajra, a vajra chain, and an arrow. In the four left hands, he holds a blood-filled kapala, a scorpion mudra, a noose, and a bow. He stands in a dancing pose. The upper part of the body is clothed in mouse skin. The head is adorned with Amoghasiddhi. The light yellow hair on the head rises upward. When you visualize this, [say]:
oṁ vajra śṛiṅkhale hūṁ phaṭ svāhā
    Recite this mantra.
This concludes the practice of Vajrashringkhala, which arose from this sequence of oral instructions.
    Translated by Lama Karma Paljor.
