vasudhārā-sādhana
The Practice of Vasudhara
I prostrate myself before the goddess Vasudhara!
Then, wishing to meditate on Vasudhara, at this time perform everything that corresponds to [what was shown] earlier. Having done so, [imagine that] on the seed syllable of the sixth [row appears] an ornament of half a moon and a bindu. When this is done perfectly, Vasudhara appears with a yellow body. In her left hand she holds a bouquet of grains and a vessel that is like one that pours rain from various precious stones. Her left hand forms the mudra of supreme giving. She is adorned with all kinds of ornaments. Meditate that she is surrounded by a retinue of friends.
You yourself [appear as] Vasudhara, being similar to her. Making fists with both hands, separate the third joint of the middle fingers. This is the mudra of Vasudhara.
Then the mantra is recited:
oṁ vasuni dhana kṣetre svāhā
After setting up the image of the Blessed One, make great offerings. Then fall asleep after meditating. Then you will appear as a siddhi of the Blessed One.
This concludes the practice of Vasudhara.
