The Practice of the Noble Yamantaka
I prostrate myself before the noble wrathful Yamantaka!
In the same way, he appears from the seed oṁ hūṁ. When he appears, the crossed legs of the Wrathful One are placed on the Sun. From the syllable hūṁ, the especially wrathful Yamantaka appears. With six faces and six arms, the hair on his head stands on end. He rides a buffalo, standing with his left leg extended. He is adorned with intestines and human skulls. He has a particularly frightening appearance. He wears lower garments made of tiger skin. In his right hands he holds a sword and a vajra. His left hands hold a bell and a vajra staff. Meditate that he possesses a diadem marked by Akshobhya.
Then form the mudra of heartfelt commitments. When you join your palms with an empty sphere [inside], place the third knuckle of your middle fingers on the separate two thumbs and two index fingers.
oṁ hrīḥ ṣṭṛīḥ vikṛitā na na hūṁ hūṁ phaṭ phaṭ svāhā
This concludes the practice of the noble Yamantaka.
