Mandala ritual

I prostrate before all Enlightened Ones and bodhisattvas!
By practicing the mandala oblation beforehand, [one will make] inexhaustible wealth for other beings. I will now proclaim without error the following, which corresponds to the place and attributes of what is being proclaimed:
    oṁ vajra rekhe āḥ hūṁ
In a pure place, prepare everything from cow dung, water, milk, yogurt, butter. Boil it in a clean vessel and pour off the water. When you have thrown away the dirt, in pieces in the middle [make] a mandala, entirely of pleasing form. Guided [sized] with one cubit of the lord of the locality, anoint, following to the essence of the secret mantra.
Then with devotion to it offer it to the Victorious One and the Sons. In conclusion, the muni said: “Proclaim all these stanzas. Offer the dung of a cow along with water. When you grind it up favorably, it is moral discipline. When one eliminates worms and pipilaka, it is patience. When fully immersed in deeds - diligence. When one instantly forms a unidirectional mind there - meditative immersion. Wisdom, on the other hand, [appears] when one clarifies the drawing. Through the making of the mandala Muni one attains [the realization of] these six paramitas. All that appears as [possessing] the golden color becomes free from all diseases. Due to beautiful radiance like the moon, one is truly born [in the world of] gods and men. Due to the wealth of jewels and gold, one is born into a royal family. If one [is] in the supreme palace of Sugata and makes a mandala, one will not do anything harmful. Virtue will become perfect. One's own mind will be completely subdued. All this is proclaimed by the Enlightened Ones.”
Then for the formation of the causes of this virtue [say]:
I prostrate before the Three Jewels! I take refuge in the Three Jewels! I offer everything for you! I repent of all harmful things! I rejoice in the virtue of beings! Turn the supreme wheel of the holy teaching! Renounce perfect nirvana! I address my prayer to you!
Virtuous deeds from this and so forth I offer for unsurpassed enlightenment! For the sake of removing the great burden of suffering beings, I direct the mind to enlightenment! May those who have not crossed [the river of being] be liberated, liberate those who are not free. May I bring the breath [of enlightenment] to those who have not had the breath arise! May I manifest a way out of sorrow in those who have not emerged from sorrow.

Immerse yourself in virtuous actions, wishing appropriately to engender thereby a perfectly stable enlightened mindset.
Thus concludes the mandala offering ritual, compiled from the precepts of the great acharya bodhisattva Shatrunirjaya-guhya.

Translated by Lama Karma Paljor (O.E. Filippov).
