Noble [doctrine]. Sutra of the Great Chariot. Primordial wisdom and the moment of death

I praise to all the Enlightened Ones and bodhisattvas!
This is what I heard once.
The Blessed One was in the auspicious house of the king of the gods, Akanishtha. He was expounding the Teaching to the entire entourage. [At that time] the bodhisattva-mahasattva Akashagarbha, after praising the Blessed One, said the following:
Blessed One! What is the mind of the moment of death seen by the bodhisattvas?
     The Blessed One replied:
Akashagarbha! When the time of death of a bodhisattva comes, meditate on death and primordal wisdom. As for primordal wisdom and the moment of death here, since all dharma-particles are perfectly pure in their own nature, meditate with the perception of the immaterial. Since all dharma-particles unite in an enlightened mood, meditate with thoughts of great compassion. Since all dharma-particles are clear light by their own nature, meditate with thoughts of the invisible. Since all particles [of matter] are impermanent, meditate with thoughts of no attachment to anything. If one comprehends the mind, it is the promordal wisdom. Therefore meditate with the thoughts that the Enlightened One is not to be found in any other [place].
The Blessed One recited the following verse:
Since all dharma-particles are perfectly pure in their own nature, meditate with thoughts of the immaterial.
Since one possesses a special enlightened mood, meditate with thoughts of great compassion.
Since the intrinsic nature of all dharma particles is clear light, meditate with thoughts of the invisible.
Since all material things are not permanent, meditate with thoughts of non-attachment.
Mind is the cause of the arising of primordial wisdom. May the Enlightened One not be found anywhere else [place]!
The Blessed One said thus. And all the assembled entourage, including the bodhisattva Akashagarbha and others, rejoiced. Showing their joy, they praised what the Blessed One had said.
Thus ends the noble [teaching], the Sutra of the Great Chariot, the moment of death and primordal wisdom.
