The Practice of Mahashitavati

Mahashitavati has one face and four arms. She is red in color. In her two right hands, she holds prayer beads and forms the [mudra] of supreme bestowal. In her two left hands, she holds an iron hook with a vajra and a lump of dough at her heart. Her seed syllable is jraṁ. She wears the crown ornament of Amitābha. She wears garments and ornaments and sits on a throne radiating the light of the sun. [Perform the practice] as shown earlier.
Thus concludes the practice of Śitavati.

   oṁ āḥ praṁ mahā pratisāre hūṁ
   oṁ āḥ maṁ mahā māyūri hūṁ
   oṁ āḥ hūṁ mahā sahasra pramardani hūṁ
   oṁ āḥ hūṁ mahā mantra anusari hūṁ
   oṁ āḥ hūṁ mahā śītavani hūṁ
Thus concludes what was compiled by the great ācārya Jetari-śatru-vidyā.

First, make offerings to the five in the center. Then make offerings to the central point and the four principal and intermediate directions. Then for the dhārani. Then for the chakra. Finally, also make offerings, bestowing them upon the central point and the four directions. If objects are present there, perform the offerings with five offerings and thirteen [heaps] of barley. By doing so, set aside thirteen nivete. Surround them with four heaps of barley and the like. Perform the ritual of double burning for each on the left and right.
