The Practice of Marichi

    I prostrate myself before Marichi!
    Then, after meditating on emptiness, [imagine that] an ashoka tree [emerges] from the yellow syllable maṁ on the disk of the moon. On it [is] the syllable maṁ. From it, when it becomes perfect, [appears] a yellow goddess, whose color is like gold. She has one face and two arms. Vairochana dwells upon her as a crown. She wears a diadem of jewels. She dwells, [seated on] the back of a pig upon a multicolored lotus and the moon within a body that possesses charm. A branch of the green ashoka tree rests on her left hand, [which holds it]. Her right hand [forms the mudra] of the highest gift. Her body is adorned with a necklace and so on. Pleasing to the mind, she embodies youth and youthfulness. When you meditate on yourself as being like her, rays of light radiate from the seed-syllable maṁ in the heart. Through them, what is otherwise unacceptable is positively transformed by the gathering of pigs together with the lord of the family. And likewise, the numerous goals of sentient beings are fully realized.
    oṁ mārīcyai maṁ svāhā
    Recite this mantra.
    This is the practice of Marichi, who rejoices on the ashoka tree.
