nairātmā-sādhana

Nairatma practice

First, practice meditation on the aspect of compassion by contemplating Tara’s qualities in relation to all sentient beings. Then, while contemplating the emptiness of all outer and inner forms, visualize a chopping knife appearing from the syllable aṁ upon a moon disc in space. Visualize the syllable aṁ on the handle of the knife.
From there, perform the practices of radiating the yogini, gathering [the light back], and so forth. Once this is perfected, visualize Nairatmya appearing on the moon disc at the heart of the corpse. She has one face and a dark blue body; with her two hands, she holds a kapala and a khatvanga-staff. Visualize her in this way.
He possesses three round, red eyes. His yellow hair rises upwards. His head, neck, and heart are marked with the syllables oṁ āḥ hūṁ. Focus on the syllable aṁ, situated on the moon-disc within the heart—specifically, upon the stem of the chopper blade resting on that moon-disc. While doing so, recite the mantra:
    oṁ a ā i ī u ū ṛi ṛī ḷi ḷī e ai o au aṁ svāhā
This is the mantra for recitation.
Thus concludes the practice of Nairatma.
