Canonical work
Under canonical works it is accepted to understand some set of norms, rules, methods which are not subject to revision. In relation to religious schools, such works are usually understood as collections of sayings, texts, etc. that are either considered to be devoted to the founder of a particular religious system, or refer to the basic or basic works in the tradition. In Buddhism and Bon, such works may include the following:
